Prior to staying at home to raise my daughters, I worked in risk management and finance for about 12 years. I tried being a working mom for a short time, but I found I couldn't bring my "A" game to both at the same time. It was a tough choice to leave, but the right call for me. No regrets!
But my girls are older now, and as they begin to plan for their future, I felt it was time for me to take a dive into my next chapter.
Returning to my former career had lost its appeal. Even if I had been good at it before—I didn't really have passion for it anymore. My life had changed so much over the years.... I had stopped wearing suits and prepping reports for board meetings. I swapped it for yoga pants and carpool lines. I had always had an interest in being an entrepreneur and I wanted an online business to give me geographical freedom and unlimited earning potential.
I spent a lot of time and money taking so many workshops, watching YouTube videos, reading books (you get the idea) to learn how to start an online business. Most of the time, I learned conceptual ideas but not the exact how-to-steps needed to create one. One day I stumbled onto an ad, that's when I met Jennie, and she introduced me to Launch You.
Launch You has given me the education, tools and resources I need to create my own online business. They were the "bread crumb trail" I had been looking for. It's literally changed my life.
I know I could just sit tight and wait for them to grow up, leave the nest and then forge ahead on my own path. Now, when my girls leave home to pursue their own adventures, I'll be able to do the same.
